On October 26, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA) into law. In an environment where those on the political left are more eager than ever to wage lawfare to achieve their policy goals, the PLCAA has proven invaluable to preserving the U.S. firearm industry and Americans’ ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

When President Donald Trump (R) signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) into law on July 4, 2025, he scheduled the end of the burdensome $200 excise tax imposed on suppressors, short-barreled firearms and “any other weapons” as defined by the National Firearms Act (NFA). That end came on January 1.

In his inauguration speech as the new mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani said, behind his characteristically easy smile, “We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.”

While going about armed, you need to fit into society responsibly and politely. Here’s how.

The AR-15 is the most-sold rifle in America for compelling reasons, like excellent ergonomics, modularity, accuracy and reliability, yet the platform has a few notable shortcomings.

I get up every morning with one question on my mind: How do we continue to give America the strong NRA it needs?

On January 20, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear Wolford v. Lopez, a suit challenging Hawaii’s broad expansion of “sensitive-place” restrictions to all private property that isn’t expressly open to citizens’ Second Amendment-protected rights.

On December 19, USA Today published an article titled “Guns marketed for personal safety fuel public health crisis in Black communities.” This is an example of one-sided, gun-control advocacy masquerading as “independent” journalism in “America’s Newspaper.” 

The U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Civil Rights Division is now suing the District of Columbia’s Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) because the District government and MPD “unconstitutionally ban the AR-15 and many other firearms protected under the Second Amendment.”
