Today, we celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of the American worker. The work ethic and determination of our country's citizenry have produced the greatest Nation in the history of the world. And the finest people in America also just so happen to be members of the oldest civil rights organization in the United States – the National Rifle Association. NRA members from every corner of our country are hardworking, responsible members of society. It is NRA members who drive truck routes, care for the sick and elderly, build our infrastructure, work the factory lines, educate America's youth, and, of course, provide safety and security both at home and abroad.

Our country is exceptional because our people are exceptional. Your NRA is no different. The cause of freedom is alive and well today because of patriots like you. But make no mistake, the next two months will determine the future of that freedom. Working together, we can continue to be guardians of liberty and guarantee the right to keep and bear arms for future generations. So, this November, exercise your cherished right to vote. Our constitutional freedoms are riding on the outcome of this election.
