SPECIAL ALERT

Women’s Wilderness Escape
JULY 16-24—RATON, NM

The first annual NRA Women’s Wilderness Escape will be held July 16-24, 2008, at the NRA Whittington Center in scenic Raton, New Mexico. The Wilderness Escape provides women 18 and older with exposure to a wide variety of shooting sports, hunting and outdoor-related activities. Participants will learn to shoot rifle silhouette, scoped/tactical carbine, long-range high power rifle, conventional and tactical pistol, historic firearms, shotgun (trap or skeet) and archery. Outdoor activities include camping, survival training, game calling, game habitat, hunter education and western cowgirl history. Food, housing, guns, ammunition, targets, classes, camping, mock hunt, evening activities, instructors, demonstrations and adventures are all included in the $975 fee. Travel to and from location is not included. Space is limited and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Call Patricia Zollman at (800) 861-1166 or visit
